Born in Naples, Florida, Veronica Swanson Beard grew up between the East and West coast. Her bicoastal upbringing ignited her love of fashion and passion for mixing preppy East Coast style with bohemian California cool. Veronica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Tulane University in New Orleans before moving to New York City and studying at Parsons School of Design. Veronica began her career in fashion with positions in sales at Narciso Rodriguez and Alberta Ferretti. She went on to consult as a buyer for specialty store Marissa Collections in Naples, where she honed her skills identifying market trends. Her understanding of both the wholesale and retail sides of the business along with how women want to dress have resulted in Veronica Beard becoming the timeless brand it is today.Veronica lives in New York City with her husband and their three sons.
