Stephanie Suberville

Drawing on a rich multicultural background, Stephanie Suberville brings a unique perspective
and elevated vision to the New York-based luxury womenswear label HEIRLOME, that she co-founded alongside her husband, Jeffrey Axford.

Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Stephanie moved to New York City in 2004 to attend
Parsons School of Design.

After being named Womenswear Designer of the Year for her 2008 senior thesis, she was invited to showcase her collection at ‘Brussels Weekend L’Vif.’ There, she represented Parsons alongside elite graduates from the world’s most prestigious institutions, including Central Saint Martins, École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.

After honing their expertise within New York City’s luxury fashion circuit, Stephanie and Jeffrey launched Heirlome—a brand defined by modern femininity, timeless design, and uncompromising quality.

Drawing deep inspiration from Stephanie’s heritage, Heirlome creates pieces intended to be more
than just garments; they are future heirlooms designed to be worn, treasured, and eventually passed down. Each collection is a global collaboration, as Stephanie partners with master artisans from her native Mexico and across South America to bring her vision to life.

Following her recognition as the 2025 runner-up for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, Stephanie has solidified her place as one of New York’s premier designers. Together, the founders operate as a dynamic team, blending Stephanie’s creative artistry with Jeffrey’s executive leadership.
