Sharon Khazzam

Award-winning designer Sharon Khazzam displays her love of art and gemstones in each of her creations. Drawn from her original sketches and paintings, each numbered jewel is handmade in New York, and meticulously catalogued with a permanent record guarded in her studio.

Khazzam’s career began upon earning her jewelry design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1984. Shortly after graduation, Asprey hired her as its sole on-house jewelry designer, a position which Khazzam held onto for eight years. With Asprey’s support in 1993, she launched the SHARON KHAZZAM collection. Simultaneously, Khazzam consulted for different jewelers, Fred Leighton and London Jewelers among them.

In 2001, Khazzam introduced her collection at Barneys New York, a partnership that has grown and still flourishes today.

In 2012, she embarked upon a relationship with Isetan and Mitsukoshi in Japan, channeling the same design philosophy to their clientele. In 2013, Khazzam was honored as a Member-At-Large for the American Society of Jewelry Historians. Most recently, she introduced her collection at Ylang 23 in Dallas.

Khazzam’s love of beautiful jewels is apparent each day. She continues to draw, paint and create individual pieces that are clearly unique to her sense of design and style. Her aspiration is to turn these elegant and often whimsical creations into timeless collectibles, destined to tell a tale to future jewelry lovers.

Sharon Khazzam has been a CFDA Member since 2014.
