Robin Renzi

Robin Renzi, designer and founder of ME&RO, has been passionate about jewelry since childhood with early memories of playing with her grandmother’s rings. She has been making jewelry since high school, an art she continued to perfect while studying modern dance. Renzi has performed in avant-garde theaters such as The Kitchen in New York City, and in a number of music videos including Steve Winwood’s Higher Love. ME & RO was nominated for Perry Ellis Award for Accessories at the 2000 CFDA Fashion Awards.

ME&RO is known for its unique designs, such as bohemian chains, stackable rings, trinket necklaces, and corded bracelets, whose originality redefines the meaning of personal jewelry. The brand uses only the finest recycled and ethically sourced materials. All diamonds are conflict free and are in compliance with resolutions set forth by the United Nations (UN) and the Kimberly Process certification scheme. ME&RO a;sp passionately believes in giving back and supports a number of charities by creating custom pieces of jewelry where 100 percent of the net proceeds are donated.

The ME&RO boutique opened in Nolita 16 years ago.

Celebrity fans include Julia Roberts, who famously wore ME&RO when she accepted her Oscar in 2001. Kate Moss, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, and Charlize Theron also wore the jewelry.
Renzi has collaborated with award-winning costume designers such as Colleen Atwood for the Oscar-nominated film Memoirs of a Geisha. ME&RO has also been featured in over 100 other movies including Black Swan, Eat, Pray, Love, and The Devil Wears Prada,” and “Noting Hill.

Robin Renzi has been a CFDA Member since 2008.
