Robert Lee Morris

Known as the father of designer jewelry, Robert Lee Morris redefined how jewelry was perceived and merchandised with his groundbreaking SoHo gallery, Artwear (1977-1994). His history-making collaborations with top name fashion designers have earned him the title of being one of the most influential designers in his field. Winner of one Coty and two CFDA awards, Morris is one of the first jewelry designers to establish a recognizable mythical brand image. His longtime collaboration with Donna Karan is not only legendary but continues to flourish after 18 years. A master at brand management, Morris has weathered the many changes in his market, and today balances a growing business between top couture jewelry stores and mass QVC sales.
