Nicola Glass

Nicola Glass is a creative director and designer with over two decades’ experience in the luxury fashion industry.

Raised in Ireland, Nicola studied Jewelry Design at Edinburgh Collage of Art and went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Fashion Accessories from the Royal College of Art in London, graduating in 2000.

Glass started her fashion career at Gucci as a handbag designer under the creative direction of Tom Ford. In 2004, she relocated to New York to join Michael Kors as SVP of Accessory Design. For thirteen years, Nicola led the design of all three accessory lines – helping to grow both the brand and the business.

In 2018 Nicola was appointed Creative Director of Kate Spade New York, where she led all creative aspects of the brand, including women’s accessory and ready-to-wear design, brand imagery and store environments for three years.

Nicola lives between Asia and New York with her husband and son, and has been a CFDA Member since 2019.
