Jennifer Fisher

Jennifer Fisher

Style has been part of Jennifer Fisher’s vernacular since her
early days as a wardrobe stylist and costume designer in Los
Angeles creating looks for both Hollywood starlets and iconic
television characters under the tutelage of Aaron Spelling. But
it was when the Santa Barbara native, who studied business
marketing at The University of Southern California, made the
trek to New York City, that she expounded upon her own design
lexicon.

In 2005, marrying futurism with nature (and sometimes the

macabre), she founded Jennifer Fisher Jewelry.
The road to designer wasn’t necessarily the obvious one for
Fisher. After beating a rare tumor and having a child against the
odds soon after, she sought to commemorate the birth of her
first son, Shane, with a piece of jewelry. Unable to find the right
piece to suit her self-described avant-garde tendencies, she
stamped dog tag-like plates of gold with names, words and
phrases and began selling them privately through her atelier in
New York and on her web site. A cult following soon ensued with
clients across the globe clamoring for pieces, including style
setters such as Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Nicole
Kidman. Fisher’s fine jewelry has evolved from the name plate
necklaces to more daring looks, such as black diamond covered
Gothic letter pendants, gold and diamond studded rocker spike
bracelets and coiling snake pendants inlaid with gemstones. She
now has more than 4,000 charms, rings, bangles, and earrings in
her repertoire.
Fisher’s handiwork has been featured in The New York Times,
Vogue, W, Elle and Women’s Wear Daily just to name a few.
Jennifer Fisher’s jewelry has also been seen on film and
television including the Sex and the City film series, Smash, and
The Big C.
In 2011, Fisher expanded her design vocabulary to include a line
of jewelry using an unconventional metal — brass. Priced within
reach, Fisher’s innovative and imaginative brass collection is
ideal for stacking multiple bangles, rings and necklaces, paving
the way for new clients and fans to talk Jennifer Fisher.
