Presley Oldham introduces his Spring 2027 collection in collaboration with CFDA member Mara Hoffman, who photographed the season’s campaign starring acclaimed author and astrologer Chani Nicholas.
Unveiled during New York Fashion Week at the W New York – Union Square, the collection finds Oldham looking inward, revisiting the signatures of his namesake jewelry brand while pushing his craftsmanship in new directions.
A trip to England earlier this year sparked the designer’s interest in hand-carving stones and beads, a technique that takes on a larger role this season. Oldham pairs that approach with an eclectic mix of materials, including deadstock Swarovski crystals from the 1950s, old mine diamonds, green amethyst, bicolor sapphires, rock crystal, and, of course, the pearls that have become synonymous with his work.
“This new collection was about getting back to the core of my brand and creating essential pieces,” Oldham said. “I focused on jewelry that a customer can put on and have as part of their everyday outfit, pieces that become a part of the wearer, light enough that their weight is forgotten.”
That idea translates into hand-sculpted mini hoops set with diamonds and tourmalines, coordinating stackable cuffs and rings, and Oldham’s first bespoke gemstone creations. Crystal quartz, lapis, jade, and other stones are individually carved into his Worry Stone pendants, marking the designer’s first foray into creating custom beads.
For the accompanying campaign, Oldham reunited with close friend and CFDA member Mara Hoffman for their second season working together, this time with Chani Nicholas as their muse. Shot in Upstate New York, where Oldham and Hoffman both live, the images draw from earth, air, water, and fire, placing the jewelry within the natural landscape that inspired the creative direction.
“This was our second season working together, and it felt like a deepening of the creative language Presley and I have begun to build,” Hoffman said. “We photographed Chani in and around my home upstate, using the landscape and natural elements to echo the inspiration behind Presley’s Spring 2027 collection.”
The collaboration extended beyond the campaign. To mark its launch, Oldham and Nicholas gathered guests at Guardian, the rooftop bar at W New York – Union Square, where the designer teamed up with Upstate New York-based Quattro Gatti Gin on the limited-edition Gilded Olive Martini.
For Spring 2027, Oldham’s return to the foundations of his brand ultimately became a point of departure—bringing new techniques, materials, and creative collaborations into the evolving world of Presley Oldham.
