Public School New York Marks The Blueprint Anniversary with Custom Jay-Z Look

July 16, 2026

Joshua Jordan

Jay-Z marked the 25th anniversary of his album The Blueprint in custom Public School New York by CFDA members Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne during night two of his sold-out concert run at Yankee Stadium.

The artist took the stage in a custom Bleached Canvas Railroad Jacket and Carpenter Jean from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection. The commemorative performance celebrated one of hip-hop’s most influential albums, with styling by Creative Director June Ambrose.

The look highlighted Public School New York’s continued presence on the global stage. The collaboration feels especially fitting, as both Chow and Osborne are born-and-raised New Yorkers. Through Public School New York’s commitment to moving 100 percent of its production to New York City, the designers continue to reinforce the brand’s deep connection to their hometown while reflecting the city’s creative spirit in every collection.
