Pinkberry Adds Sweet Touch to Student Fashion Immersion

October 19, 2015

As a philanthropic partner of the CFDA, Pinkberry is making a donation to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer for every swirl sold this month.  Pinkberry is also supporting the CFDA and its programs elsewhere. Case in point last Friday, when the CFDA’s professional development team provided a full-day fashion immersion program for 35 students from the High School of Fashion Industries (HSFI), which touched on several sectors of the industry, from visiting the New York Embroidery Studio to touring the CFDA {Fashion Incubator}.

During lunch at the Garment District Alliance, the CFDA introduced students to the intersection of fashion and philanthropy. Pinkberry sweetened the moment by generously providing frozen yogurt samples to the students to highlight the October partnership. The students sampled a variety of flavors including hazelnut and chocolate, and learned about Fashion Targets Breast Cancer and where the money raised from proceeds in October is allocated. The students showed their support by sharing their experiences on social media — making sure that all their friends are in on the scoop, too.
