Christopher John Rogers’ Collection 017 Comes with “No Strings”

Christopher John Rogers’s Collection 017, which the designer dropped via email on Tuesday on the last day of the Fall 2026 Paris Collections, came with the most enticing – and charming and personal – statement.

The CFDA member expressed such visceral thoughts as “Dressing to feel something,” “Make me laugh!!,” “Things that once were,” and “Sincerity is a concept I’m excited by” for a lineup he titled “No Strings.” Along the way, he delivered some terrific day looks and dresses that merge his sense for color – among the best in the business – with real fashion magic via Sesame Street textures, echoes of ancient dress, Warhol muse Nico, and David Hockney’s preppy dandyism.

It was a perfect way to punctuate the day with style.
