On Tuesday, the CFDA and The Mental Health Coalition hosted “The Business Case for Mental Health,” a virtual conversation highlighting the resources available to businesses looking to support the mental health and wellbeing of their teams.
The webinar was moderated by Darcy Gruttadaro J.D., Chief Innovation Officer at NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness).
The panelists included Kenneth Cole, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Kenneth Cole, and Founder of The Mental Health Coalition; Joseph Altuzarra, Creative Director of Altuzarra, and Pamela Bell, CEO of Prinkshop, and Co-Founder & Board Member of The Mental Health Coalition.
The conversation covered the mission of MHC and why it was started; the stigma associated with mental illness, especially within the fashion industry; why its important for leaders to speak openly about mental health, and a roadmap and other resources to address mental health in the workplace.
