EdCFDA, the Eyewear Designers of the CFDA working group launched in 2014, has created a special capsule of frames in aid of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, the charitable initiative of the CFDA Foundation that raises funds and public awareness for breast cancer worldwide.

Called Frames for A Cause, the eyeglasses were inspired by FTBC’s signature blue and white hues and designed by Patty Perreira for Barton Perreira, Selima Salaun for Selima Optique, Blake Kuwahara, Jeff Press for Morgenthal Frederics, Daniel Silberman for Illesteva, Barbara McReynolds and Gai Gherardi for l.a. Eyeworks, Robert Marc, Shane Baum for Leisure Society, Grant Krajecki and Natalie Levy for Grey Ant, and Christian Roth.

“In today’s times when charitable efforts are needed more than ever,” Roth said. “I am very proud that the edCFDA committee brought together 10 CFDA eyewear designers to create a collective capsule collection to benefit Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.”

The frames made their debut at Vision Expo East, the eyewear trade show taking place at the Javits Center through Sunday. They will launch at fine optical and fashion stores in May. Until then, you can click through our slideshow to pick out your personal favorites!
