Session 1
The Future is Flax
The first installment of this series brought together a group of experts, including Wendy Waugh, Theory’s SVP of Sustainability; LaRhea Pepper, founder of Textile Exchange; Francesco and Riccardo Marini, owner of Marini and Cecconi linen mill; and moderator Tonne Goodman, Sustainability Editor at Vogue. The conversation delved into supply chain traceability and innovation, as well as the zero-waste flax plant used to make linen.

Session 2
Carbon in the Value Chain
The second installment of Good Talks was moderated by Theory’s SVP of Sustainability, Wendy Waugh in conversation with panelists Cannon Michael, President & CEO of Bowles Farming Company, Andrea Crespi, CEO of Sensitive Fabrics, and Said Hameed, founder & CEO of Altruistiq. The conversation focused on carbon emissions within the value chain - from capturing data on it, to measuring its impact, and reporting on our progress as an industry.

Session 3
Unwinding Wool
Moderated by Sophia Li, this panel featured Silvio Botto, CEO of Botto Giuseppe; Jeanne Carver, Founder & President of Shaniko Wool Company, and Wendy Waugh, SVP of Sustainability at Theory. Together, they guided fashion leaders, educators, and activists through the wool supply chain, from farm to closet. The discussion invited reflection on the supply chain of wool and the broader challenge of building a more conscious fashion industry.

Session 4
Circularity, Considered
In continued celebration of Earth Month, Theory's Meatpacking store held the fourth installment in this series. The conversation was centered around circularity through the use of sustainable materials, upcycling, closed-loop production, and product life extension. Panelists included founder of The Circularity Project, Indre Rockefeller; CEO of Manteco®, Marco Mantellassi; and Founder and Creative Director of Alabama Chanin and Project Threadways, Natalie Chanin.

Session 5
Sustainability in Sync
Moderated by Wendy Waugh, the former SVP of Sustainability at Theory and Founder of Golden Collective Incorporated, panelists included Vanessa Barboni Hallik, Founder, co-CEO, and Executive Chair at Another Tomorrow; Albert Vaysbukh, SVP of Global Production and Sourcing at Theory; Dana Davis, Sustainability Consultant and Industry Advisor at Dana Davis Consulting; and Matthieu Seiller, Director of Procurement at Hermès. The conversation explored the power of partnerships, collaboration, and the integration of sustainable solutions within an organization.
