Eight Stars Group is a full service agency in Los Angeles, offering apparel product development and bulk production services.

Founded by veteran industry patternmaker Shilo Byrd who has been working in the industry in NYC and LA since 2009, Eight Stars Group works with designer brands globally. The company’s portfolio largely features fine single needle and best quality overlock work.

We offer services on an a la carte basis: digitizing, patternmaking, raw materials sourcing, cutting, sample sewing, technical design, bulk production sewing, fit testing, grading, marking, custom trim development, and any other service needed to get our clients from concept to garment.

We accept new clients on a very selective basis to ensure our skillsets suit clients’ goals. We prioritize building long term relationships and invest our time and efforts in designers who are building brands with clear intention to sell. 

We are fully compliant with Federal and State fair pay and workplace compliance requirements including having a current Garment Manufacturing Registration certificate for the state of California.
