Cloth Portico is the most comprehensive, experienced, full-service fashion design and development agency based in NYC with 30+ years in the apparel manufacturing business.
(We service our Latin American and South American Clients from our Miami office.)
C/P focuses on higher end product, using sustainable and eco friendly fabrics, prints, dyes and wash processes. We source fabrics from innovative countries such as Italy, Japan, Peru and more.
C/P offers MOQ as low as 50 PC to 100 PC with the capacity to do much more. We not only say we ethically and sustainably produce, we have the certifications; most of our factories are WRAP, REACH, OEKO TEX and all of our fabric mills are OEKO-TEX, GOTS, LENZING Fibers Certified.

Our business supports our clients with 4 divisions:
• Design, Color, Print and Trend Service
• Garment Development through fabric sourcing, Tech pack and spec creation, pattern and sample making, fittings and creating labels / packaging in sustainable materials.
• Free Education- we do not charge for explaining and teaching you the business. We teach you by immersing you in the process, not by selling courses. We feel the best way to learn is being hands on throughout the process.
• Factories in NYC and world wide:
• We own our own small batch factory/atelier in NYC, where we work with our clients one on one. We will not fob you off to random factories! Our factory base has been with us for at least 10 years and some for 30 years.
• We manage your product from start to finish, including shipping and logistics.
• Each factory is a best-in-class facility for their core competencies:
• NYC for very small batch
• Peru for sustainable Knits
• Brazil for sustainable swim and active
• Italy for High end, contemporary product using Italian fabrics
• Shanghai for Athletic Wear, Sportswear, Outerwear. We even have a separate shoe factory.
• Vietnam for Equestrian wear and denim, using specialized machinery at competitive costing.
