NC State University Wilson College of Textiles

NC State University’s Wilson College of Textiles is the only textile college in the United States. With degrees in Fashion and Textile Design, Fashion and Textile Management, Polymer and Color Chemistry, Textile Engineering, and Textile Technology, Wilson College is a comprehensive academic institution for the entire textile and apparel industries.

In addition to academic programs, Wilson College houses two industry service units: Zeis Textiles Extension and the Textile Protection and Comfort Centers. Zeis Textiles Extension has yarn spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing, and physical testing facilities available to companies and individuals for prototyping, pilot production and testing.

The Textile Protection and Comfort Center provides flame and chemical protection testing as well as thermal and moisture management testing.
