Nature Coatings transforms wood waste into high-performing black pigments. Our pigments are a direct replacement for petrol based carbon black pigment. Our pigments are made in a closed-loop manufacturing system that emits immeasurable amounts of CO2, do not contain any detected carcinogens (PAHs) and come in a ready-to-use water based dispersion. Our dispersion is 100% bio-based. In contrast, petrol carbon black emits millions of tons of CO2 annually, contains carcinogens and has 0% bio-renewable content.

Nature Coatings pigment dispersions work with existing equipment and formulations at mills. It’s as easy as grabbing our dispersion off the shelf versus the petrol option. Our dispersions are high-performing– our pigment is a true black color and does not fade.
