S. Café® roasts coffee waste, such as grounds, and turns them into fibers, yarns, textiles, and apparel.

S. Café® technology, with a low-temperature, high-pressure and energy saving process, combines coffee grounds onto the yarn surface, changing the characteristics of the filament, and offers up to 200% faster drying time compared to cotton. Also, the micro-pores on S. Café® coffee grounds absorb odors and reflect UV rays all the time.

S.Café® sustainable technology is integrated into the ever growing coffee drinking culture. There is never a need to waste time and energy to produce the essential S.Café® raw material, as there is always coffee being consumed, therefore there will always be coffee grounds to be collected and used. S.Café® yarn can be used in a variety of different products, from outdoor and sports performance apparel, to household items we use every day. There is an endless possibility where we are able to apply our sustainable material. By making less of an impact on our environment, they are making the world a better place for the next generation.

The S.Café® process of roasting and brewing maximizes the functional performance capacity of the coffee ground. The four permanent functions maximized by this process include odor control, fast drying, UV protection and ice cool touch.
