Orange Fiber is the world’s first company to produce a sustainable textile fibre from a patented process for the extraction of cellulose apt to be spun from leftovers of the citrus transformation industry. Our fiber does not require dedicated yields, alternative to food consumption, or dwelling on natural resources, but reuses organic waste thus saving land, water, fertilizers and environmental pollution. Furthermore it is biodegradable and compostable and it doesn’t release plastic microfibers into our oceans.

Our product portfolio entails our TENCEL ™ Limited Edition x Orange Fiber – the first ever TENCEL™ branded lyocell fiber made of orange and wood pulp created in 2021 in partnership with the Lenzing Group using the same award-winning closed loop production process as standard TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers – and a collection of high-end finished fabrics, which will be commercialized on the market from October 2021 on, adapting to a larger variety of final applications and technical properties, through a selection of pure textiles and blends with other sustainable fibres for final applications in: luxury fashion, denim, streetwear, sportswear, leisure wear, lingerie, menswear, accessories and home textiles.

Our lyocell fibre already obtained the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 product class I, demonstrating its non-ecotoxicity and its environmental sustainability. Additionally, our products, processes and business are in progress to undergo a wider broad spectrum of sustainability assessments and certifications: Lifegate GRI sustainability assessment, LCA analysis of our fibre and finished fabrics, B-Corp Certification, Recycled Claim Standard, OK-Biodegradable in Soil, Water, Marine, OK-Compostable Home and Industrial.
