CocoaFiber has developed an end-to-end biomass-to-fiber process, including a proprietary approach to cocoa pod husk cellulose extraction and wet spinning, building the technical foundation for an entirely new category of agricultural-waste-derived regenerated cellulose fiber.

The company’s work sits at the convergence of advanced materials chemistry, supply chain design, and industrial decarbonization. CocoaFiber is the product of research into underutilized lignocellulosic biomass streams and their potential to displace fossil-derived materials at scale. Founded by Shannen-Kaylia Henry, who leads its technical development.

CocoaFiber is engaged in active partnerships across West Africa, Europe, and North America, building the supply chain, technical validation, and commercial relationships needed to bring this material to market.
