CFDA & Google Fashion Equity Fellowship

About

About

Established in 2024, the CFDA & Google Fashion Fellowship connects the resources and expertise of Google, the global technology leader, directly with emerging fashion talent to support the development of their New York Fashion Week (NYFW) collections.

The program awards each fellow a $50,000 grant, complemented by a year of mentorship, education, and collaboration with Google’s product experts and innovation leaders. Through this partnership, participating designers explore best practices for building for everyone and learn how to apply these principles to their own fashion design processes.

The fellowship will culminate in the unveiling of participating designers’ spring-summer 2028 collections during NYFW, reflecting the intersection of fashion, technology, and inclusive design.

Google serves as the official partner of CFDA’s New York Fashion Week Initiatives.

Applications for the 2026–2027 cycle open Tuesday, November 10, 2026 through Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
