Frazier Family Foundation have previously partnered on the Empowered Vision Award, which identifies a designer who demonstrates exceptional creativity, business acumen, and potential for long-term success. By combining the philanthropic vision of the Andréa W. and Kenneth C. Frazier Family Foundation with the industry expertise of the CFDA, the partnership delivers targeted funding and bespoke support to advance Black-owned businesses in fashion.

Now in its second year, the award provides a $100,000 grant, tailored mentorship, and national visibility to honor designers who exemplify creative excellence and business discipline.

This partnership, housed under the Council’s CFDA IMPACT program, reflects both organizations’ shared commitment to dismantling systemic barriers in fashion by providing Black-owned businesses with the essential resources needed for sustained success.
