LA Fashion Week (LAFW), in partnership with the W Hollywood, is back for its third season from Nov.13-15 with fashion, innovation, technology, sustainability, and inclusion key to the experience.
Participants in the upcoming week include The Blonds, Rio, Theophilio, Private Policy, Sergio Hudson, Sami Miro Vintage, Maisie Wilen, and Marrisa Wilson.
Behind the week is N4XT Experiences, which was co-founded by Ciarra Pardo, Imad Izemrane, and Keith Abell.
We caught up with Pardo, the Co-Founder and CCO of N4XT Experiences and President of LA Fashion Week & Beauty Days, to talk West Coast fashion, style, lifestyle, and what to expect from this season of LAFW.
What’s new and noteworthy at LAFW this season ?
This season, we’re thrilled to unveil an exciting new venue: the W Hollywood, remaining for the 3rd season, in the heart of Hollywood. The hotel just underwent a stunning gut renovation, creating a fresh, elevated space that perfectly complements our vibe. With updated interiors, stunning views and enhanced facilities, the W adds a modern, cool backdrop for our designers and guests.
What makes LA style so unique and how is this reflected at LAFW?
LA style is a true reflection of the city’s culture—it’s eclectic, diverse, and unapologetically free. What makes LA style so unique is its blend of high fashion with streetwear, the way it pulls from so many influences—Hollywood glamour, skate culture, art, music, and even our laid-back, beachy vibes. It’s a place where people are not afraid to experiment and push boundaries, so you get this really exciting mix of styles.
At LAFW, we celebrate that spirit. We provide a platform for designers who are not just creating clothes but making bold statements and that approach reflects the city’s energy. You’ll see everything from cutting-edge, forward-thinking collections to designs that are rooted in LA’s street culture. We champion inclusivity, self-expression, and a no-rules approach to fashion.
Is there much synergy between fashion and film, and if yes, does it play into the collections at LAFW?
Absolutely, there’s a powerful synergy between fashion and film, especially here in Hollywood, the ultimate intersection of entertainment and style. At LAFW, we celebrate this connection by bringing back Film Screenings for the third season in a row. In past seasons, we showcased mini-documentaries for Sami Miro Vintage and, most recently, a special screening with Bethann Hardison for Invisible Beauty. These screenings allow us to highlight designers and icons who are shaping fashion narratives on screen, reinforcing LA’s unique place where fashion meets cinematic storytelling.
What makes LAFW stand apart from other fashion weeks?
What sets LA Fashion Week apart is its commitment to celebrating creativity without limits. We embrace the unique, vibrant culture of Los Angeles—a place where art, music, and film naturally intersect with fashion. LAFW isn’t bound by tradition. We’re constantly innovating, whether it’s through immersive experiences, collaborations with artists, or showcasing diverse voices that reflect LA’s global influence. At LAFW, we’re not just about runway shows; we’re about creating a platform where designers can push boundaries, tell stories, and connect with a dynamic, engaged audience.
One personal question: On a day off from work, do you prefer to hike Runyon Canyon or go to the beach?
LA has definitely brought out my love for nature, but if I had to choose, it’s absolutely the beach! I’ve spent most of my time on the Westside since moving to LA, and there’s something truly special about the ocean—it recharges my spirit in a way nothing else can.
