For Willy Chavarria, Huron is more than just the agricultural town in the San Joaquin Valley that provided the designer with his roots. It’s a feeling and the title of his Spring-Summer 2026 collection, a tribute to the uncertainty woven into our times.
The show opened with a moving performance by singer and activist Vivir Quintana, whose rendition of “Te Mereces Un Amor” set a culturally resonant and emotionally charged tone.
Chavarria continued to evolve a vision in which authenticity, identity, and community are central. This spirit pulsed through runway, with James Harden, Jenn Soto, Gui Silva, Carlisle Aikens, and Stefon Diggs bringing serious heat.
The collection featured textured fabrics, bold silhouettes, high-waisted, wide-legged trousers, and striking monochromes in electric yellow and blue. Through his modern interpretation of the zoot suit, once a symbol of Pachuco subculture and social resistance, Chavarria continues to push cultural narratives forward in fashion.
Meanwhile, the adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria line introduced a new vision of cotton-based uniform dressing paired with innovative footwear. These included the debut of the Megaride AG and Megaride AG XL in blue with mesh materials and reflective details alongside a refreshed Chavarria Superstar – merging high fashion with global streetwear, a strength of the designer.
