Designer Willy Chavarria created uniforms for non-profit HELPER Foundation (formerly known as Venice 2000) to wear while distributing PPE kits and community services in Venice, California. Founded in 1999, the organization was originally established to provide gang intervention and prevention services to combat gang-related violence and “the loss of our young people to the lure of economic depravity.”
“These guys have shown themselves to be fearless in the face of helping others,” Chavarria said. “They inspire us, and it’s our honor to keep them safe in uniforms.”
