Marc Jacobs finally did it! On Wednesday night, he asked his boyfriend Charly Defrancesco to marry him, but this being Marc, he did it in his own way – with a flashmob at Chipotle playing out at the fast food chain to Prince’s Kiss. As unexpected as it was, Jacobs played to tradition when it came to popping the question: he got on his knees – “And this happened,” he posted on his Instagram. “’Charly Defrancesco, will you marry me?’ THANK YOU everyone for making this happen . . . and to my Ride or Die fiancé, I LOVE YOU.”
His legions of friends and fans were quick to congratulate him. “Wedding!” Naomi Campbell exclaimed. “I am so happy for you.”
“HUGE Congratulations and BIG LOVE,” Katie Grand said with a graphic stating “Marc & Char Forever.”
Even Chipotle chimed in on Twitter, calling the union “a match as perfect as Chips and Guac.” No word on what the happy couple ordered to celebrate the occasion.
