Vivienne Westwood Bridal and Couture 2021 Look 1

There’s reason to celebrate at Vivienne Westwood. Marking a quarter century since the designer’s inception of couture in her London atelier, the newest Bridal collection nods at classic looks and reimagines them using the signature avant-garde tailoring and combined historical and experimental pattern-cutting the house is known for.

The Made-to-Order line presents a selection of metamorphic looks and accessories. Detachable sleeves, capes and Bagatelle corsets encourage brides to curate their own Westwood look with its modular and amorphous offerings. Grand baroque Diva trains and Elizabeth boleros in silk duchess or tulle present a transitional element for added drama.

The Westwood bride is environmentally conscious too, as each piece is designed, sampled and made locally in England using sustainable fabrics, recycled polyester and an ivory FSC-certified viscose (as a vegan alternative to silk) to reduce her carbon footprint. It’s the ultimate baroque bride grandeur.
