More so than ever, design informs all aspects of life. With the recent launch of Victor Alfaro Studio, the designer addresses this need through his own, exquisite lens – one that’s come into focus over the course of his impressive career that took him to many different places around the world.

“I’ve always loved design—not just in fashion, but in the spaces I’ve discovered through my travels,” Alfaro said. “I’ve been traveling for years to auctions, long before art became such an integral part of fashion. I’ve always loved living in hotels—the atmosphere, the details, the feeling.

“Every new city, every place sparked something in me,” he added. “I’d ask myself: what would I do differently? How would I translate this spirit to New York—or wherever I was working?

The CFDA member made a name for himself with clothes that speak to sensuality, precision, and craftsmanship. With this new venture, he is evolving into residences, hospitality, retail environments, and more, bringing the same attention to detail, materiality, and storytelling to the lifestyle sector.

“Even in my collections, I was building environments,” he said. “If I was inspired by Morocco, I’d bring Moroccan rugs into the studio to capture the mood. Launching Victor Alfaro Studio feels like a natural evolution. I don’t call myself an interior designer—I’m a lifestyle designer. It’s about creating environments that are inspiring, current, and emotionally connected. Hospitality moves as fast as fashion, and I love that challenge.”

He’s already put the Alfaro touch in several projects, including the Seven24 Collective private club at the Gansevoort Hotel. Alfaro created several spaces including The Café, The Study members-only workspace, the Dimes Onl social hub, The Loft private lounge, and The Rooftop, a panoramic city escape.

He’s also working on exclusive residential and retail projects—bringing fashion and spaces together.

“One day I’d be very happy having my own hotel,” Alfaro offered. “For now, I say: from runway to residence to retreats.”
