Anyone who considers themselves a true New Yorker will be familiar with The Odeon, the storied Tribeca eatery marked by an iconic neon-lit sign. It seemed fitting that it should serve as the backdrop for Tory Burch‘s Fall 2021 collection, which is the designer’s tribute to New York. With an end of the pandemic in sight, Burch thought both practically and optimistically, creating a highly wearable collection compromised of everyday basics that still manage to inspire. Crisp cotton shirts, knit turtlenecks, and men’s suiting channel an attitude of classic New York with pieces that beg to be worn around the city as New Yorkers begin to make their re-entry into some normalcy come fall. While basics are central to the collection, pieces feel new with expert layering tricks and the addition of chunky jewelry and structural bags.
