CFDA members Timo Weiland, Alan Eckstein and Donna Kang are the latest designers to be tapped by the National Arts Club.
The Timo Weiland Fall 2021 menswear collection was shot on site, and now the brand’s signature take on American classic sensibilities will form part of the organization’s legacy of formal dress code. A collection of custom Timo Weiland jackets will be offered to its members and guests, with proceeds of sales benefitting the non-profit organization.
“Every aspect of the [Club’s] setting, from the hallways to the elevators to the ornate glass domed bar and parlor rooms have acted as a living mood board since before the launch of the Timo Weiland brand in 2010,” Weiland said. “It is a pleasure and very fitting to shoot our latest collection at the Club and to partner closely with an institution that has such a rich and diverse history in building a creative community hub here in New York City.”
The National Arts Club with headquarters in Gramercy Park is nonprofit with a mission to stimulate, foster, and promote public interest in the arts and to educate the American people in the fine arts. Since 2003, the Club has awarded its Medal of Honor, an award recognizing exemplary leaders in their respective fields, to more than a dozen designers and fashion icons. Recipients include CFDA members Geoffrey Beene, Carolina Herrera, Norma Kamali, Narciso Rodriguez, and—most recently—Anna Sui.
