Thom Browne’s Fall Campaign: Meet Me at the Lighthouse

…up on a hill…
…the lighthouse stands watch…

…everything is not quite as it seems…

Thom Browne’s February fashion week show brimmed with a sense of discovery. For his Fall 2023 campaign, the CFDA Chairman channeled a similar magical vibe in images and a short form video that take “you to ‘the end’ where the land meets the season’” – as in the hills of Montauk. Captured by Emma Louise Swanson with Browne’s creative direction, the characters billow through the hills of this historic Long Island spot that has inspired so many creatives. The looks – layered tailoring, seasonal checked Prince of Wales separates, double-faced melton outerwear, an oversized wool flannel down overcoat – provide perfect sartorial statements under the watch of the lighthouse down to the checked Hector bag. Also new are vachetta leather accessories, a “mr. thom” bag, and a “mrs. thom” mini baguette.

As the brand put it, “Our cast of characters seem right at home…but have where did they come from? Have they been there forever, or did they just arrive…”
