Thom Browne Fall-Winter 2024

You could hear a pin drop in the room as Anna Cleveland emerged onto the snow-filled set at Thom Browne. The voice of actress Carrie Coon boomed over the speaker narrating Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem The Raven to models walking down the runway. Said poem served as inspiration for this season, which felt especially somber. White coats embroidered with black birds and heavy deconstructed black suiting were key, accompanied by sculptural hair, black netted headpieces, and nails shaped into talons. Equally beautiful was the golden caped silhouette worn in the finale look by rising star Alex Consani, as Queen Latifah and Janet Jackson looked on at the designer’s most theatrical presentation yet.
