If you’re in New York, you’ve probably seen her around this week. Not on the runway, but certainly on the streets. She’s the latest trend everyone’s talking about. It’s the CFDA NYFW Shuttle Bus presented by Shop With Google, taking editors and buyers around the city in stylish—and sustainable—ways.
It’s an effort to help with any logistical hurdles show-goers might face in transit between shows, and another step CFDA is taking for a greener fashion week.
The NYFW Shuttle is helping reduce the environmental impact, improving the week’s carbon footprint with group ridesharing with a capacity of 50 seats.
The shuttle concept is aligned with CFDA’s long-term mission to improve NYFW and make it more sustainable. In 2020, during Earth Month’s 50th anniversary, CFDA and Boston Consulting Group announced a focus study called Sustainability by Design: Rethinking New York Fashion Week. We are proud to continue leading the work in this space and thank our partners at Shop With Google for their support in bringing this idea to life.
