On a mild early June day, a group of executives behind the men’s wear industry arrived at Pier59 Studios. The reason? To be photographed for the cover story of the new issue of The Impression/CFDA, out this week. Photographer Marco Pedde of BFA captured “The Industrialists” – as they were dubbed by the CFDA and The Impression — in time for New York Fashion Week: Men’s.
The mix included top retail fashion directors, magazine editors, public relations specialists, and trade show producers, among them Eric Jennings, Jay Fielden, Jim Nelson, Kevin Harter, Lizette Chin, Megan Maguire Steele, Ivan Bart, and Sam Ben-Avraham. They all posed for Pedde with the creative direction of The Impression’s Kenneth Richard. Pier 59’s social media director Brian Lynch was responsible for the behind-the-scenes photography.
