Ahead of the recipient announcement, the four Empowered Vision Award 2.0 finalists Daveed Baptiste, Keith Herron of Advisry, Nana Kwamei Audsei of Kwamei Audsei, and Edvin Thompson of Theophilio gave their final presentations to the selection committee yesterday.

Imaan Hammam, Emilie Rubinfeld, Shiona Turini, Alastair McKimm, Walter Frye, Bruce Pask, Carlos Nazario and Edward Buchanan joined Steven Kolb, James Frazier and Milton Dixon III for the final deliberation to select a recipient who will win a grant and mentorship program established to champion emerging Black designers.
