The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Joins Fashion League Game

Finfin Play AG, the innovative creator behind the much-anticipated free-to-play mobile game Fashion League, is partnering with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in honor of the game’s upcoming launch and the Fund’s 20th anniversary.

Kicking off during New York Fashion Week this September, the partnership will feature an exclusive, limited-time in-game event.

The four-week Fashion Fund activation will feature styling challenges, game locations, and backdrops within the Fashion League world inspired by this year’s 10 finalists, who will also design a signature look in the game. The 2024 Fashion Fund winner, to be announced in October, will receive a dedicated virtual store within the game showcasing additional exclusive runway looks.

“Collaborating with Finfin Play on Fashion League allows us to showcase the incredible talent of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund designers in a new and innovative way, reaching a broader audience and engaging with fashion enthusiasts in the gaming community,” CFDA CEO Steven Kolb said. “And, as the Fund celebrates its 20th anniversary, this partnership honors the past while looking forward to the future of fashion.”

Starting next January, additional initiatives will celebrate the Fund’s 20th anniversary, including a special limited-time event with alumni brands inspired by iconic moments from their respective time in the program. An exciting few Selection Committee members will also appear as non-player characters to enhance the storyline and narration of the event.

A key feature is the ability to style avatars with layers of clothing, allowing players unmatched potential to express their creative style on the runway and providing a realistic fashion experience. Players will navigate high-profile assignments to build their fashion empire through social media marketing stunts and express bold originality on the runway to win unique prizes and advance in the Fashion League.
