Phoebe and Annette Stephens, the designer duo behind Anndra Neen jewelry and accessories, consider their pieces modern heirlooms. And now, they have brought this unique sensibility to our CFDA Loves LA shop-in-shop at the new Fred Segal on Sunset Boulevard. To celebrate this, we checked in with the Stephens sisters on LA, the shop, and what they plan to splurge on.

Why did you agree to participate in the CFDA Loves LA shop?

We loved the idea that some of the New York-based CFDA designers would have a presence in LA. We have been fans of Fred Segal for a long time. It’s an LA institution and to be a part of it is a great honor.

What do you love about LA the most?

We love the beaches and the great weather.  We have many friends that live there. We always enjoy trying new restaurants and checking out new stores. The relaxed attitude and friendliness is always a breath of fresh air coming from New York.

What is the one must-have item of yours available in the shop?

The Cage Bag!
