Last Wednesday, Tamara Mellon, co-founder of Jimmy Choo and her namesake luxury footwear brand, which she launched in 2016, sat down with Anne Crawford at the C-Project in Los Angeles for the second ‘In-Conversation’ event hosted by the CFDA Fashion Trust.
In front of an audience consisting of industry guests and members of the CFDA, Mellon recounted her career journey, including why she decided to leave the billion dollar company that she founded and how she is revolutionizing the luxury industry as a direct-to-consumer brand.
“I wanted to build a company that is the next generation of luxury brands, which is digitally born,” Mellon said.
