A designer would be nothing without a muse. That’s why at every CFDA Fashion Awards, top American fashion talent brings along some of fashion’s favorite models to show off their creations on this special occasion. With this year’s digital CFDA Awards only a few weeks away, we asked some of the industry’s most beloved models to share their favorite Awards memories. Take a look!

“The CFDA Awards is a night in fashion not to miss… no matter what! Last year, I flew in and went right to fittings and glam. I was so honored to be there with my Tommy Hilfiger family. It was an in and out, as I had to depart shortly after arriving to head to a work obligation in Denmark. Well worth the travel as the evening celebrates the who’s who in fashion. What a gift to be invited to spend the evening alongside some of the industry’s biggest playmakers and most forward-thinking leaders!”

Jasmine Sanders

“I was so excited to attend the CFDA with Vera Wang in 2018. The look that Vera picked for me was a highly structured all-black piece. I was lucky enough to be working with the incredible makeup artist Hung Vanngo that year. Hung found the perfect shades of blue to create a super-bold and daring eye that was to totally unexpected with the all-black look. I loved rocking the blue eye on the carpet with Vera. Waking up the next day to see that my bold eye look make such a big statement in the beauty industry was the icing on the cake! I can’t thank him enough!”

“It was so incredible to have the CFDA experience I had with a designer who cared so much about their craft and who was such a big part of the process the whole way. When you get to be with a designer who is as charismatic and brilliant as Sara Flint it really adds a level of honor to an already incredible event. It is always the place to be and one of the most fashionable and top notch events of the year!!!”

“My first CFDA was in 2014, we all got dressed in gold DVF dresses to honor Bethann Hardison, a woman that we all have so much respect and admiration for and that continues to do so much for us in the industry. It was a very emotional moment for all of us while standing on stage, I think everyone teared up. Getting ready for the CFDA is basically as close as I will ever get from going to prom! so much fun getting together. I was wearing Zac Posen for the after party”
