Last Thursday night, five of the CFDA {Fashion Incubator} designers participated in the W Hotel Showcase, the second phase of their global partnership. Designers Alix, DDugoff, Haerfest, K/LLER Collection and Yestadt Millinery staged small-scale presentations of their work in a reimagined loft space high above Hollywood.

They had the help of celebrity stylist Law Roach, who was brought in for the evening to help merchandise and style each micro-collection with each brand’s ethos in mind. Leaning on D’Marie, CFDA’s new strategic partner connecting technology and talent, each designer was paired with models and social media influencers including Taylr Anne and Kristen Noel Crowley to bring their Spring/Summer ’18 collections to life for the retailers, consumers and media in attendance.

“We don’t have the same representation on the West Coast as we do on the East Coast,” Yestadt Millinery’s Molly Yestadt said, excited at the opportunity to grow her business beyond New York and into other crucial markets.
