The CFDA, in partnership with Premiere Vision, showcased local NYC manufacturing facilities at Premiere Vision New York last week. The six companies, all of whom are past FMI Grant Recipients, were Create-A-Marker, Funtastic Furs, Johnny’s Fashion Studio, New York Binding Co., New York Embroidery Studio and Rainbow Leather.

Premiere Vision New York, at Pier 94, showcased fabrics, leather, designs, manufacturing and accessories from over 300 exhibitors from around the world. With over 3,600 visitors throughout the two-days, each manufacturer was able to educate the attendees on the services they offer and speak with potential new designer clients.

The showcase included a presentation dedicated to American designs produced by each participating manufacturer with looks from CFDA Members Tanya Taylor, Prabal Gurung, Nanette Lepore and Rag & Bone, as well as emerging designer Andrea Geer. The looks were all shown on mannequins provided by DK Display Corp., a program partner for Retail Lab.

More information on services each participating NYC manufacturer offers, as well as direct contact information can be found on the CFDA’s Production Directory.
