The 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund officially concluded on November 5th, but a piece of the program lives on, at least for another week at the 10 Corso Como in the Seaport District.
Through Monday, November 19, a custom design from each finalist made exclusively for the Fashion Fund, is for sale at the new boutique. The finalists were Batsheva Hay of Batsheva, Emily Adams Bode of Bode, Christian Cowan, Danielle Corona of Hunting Season, Jonathan Cohen, Raul Lopez of Luar, Matthew Adams Dolan, Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss, Rebecca de Ravenel, and Scosha Woolridge of Scosha.
The finalists had been tasked with creating a custom look inspired by a given American artist at the Whitney Museum of American Art. The display includes a colorful Hunting Season belt bag, a dazzling hand-embellished Christian Cowan dress, and a patchwork suit from Bode.
10 Corso Como, the curated concept store founded by the legendary Carla Sozzani, serves as the perfect backdrop for these artful creations.
