While attending the Met Gala might faze even some of the world’s biggest stars, Vittoria Ceretti effortlessly keeps her calm. But then again, she’s no stranger to the fashion scene.

The model is one of the most successful faces in the industry – juggling a wide range of editorial, commercial, and runway gigs. In fact, it’s not uncommon for her to walk as many as 30 to 40 shows per season.

Needless to say, she’s comfortable in front of the camera – making her the perfect guest for this year’s Met Gala. In celebration of this year’s American fashion theme, the Italian-born model attended on the arm of one of her favorite designers, CFDA member Michael Kors. Before she hit the red carpet, we exclusively caught up with Ceretti to talk all things style, fashion, and beauty. Take a look!

How does it feel to be back at NYFW in-person this season and at the Met? 

It’s a great opportunity to be back in New York and being able to do shows in person. It’s been a crazy two years and seeing all this energy again is thrilling.

Tell us about your look! What inspired tonight’s outfit? 

I think my look explains just perfectly what the power of American fashion is: simplicity and Hollywood extravaganza!

Do you have any getting ready rituals? How do you prep before the big night? 

When I get ready for a big night I try to have my morning off to myself. I meditate, have a shower, and a good breakfast to start the day slowly before the craziness.

I have my amazing glam team by my side; they’re the ones creating the magic.

Why was Michael Kors the right brand for you to attend with? 

If I think of fashion in America, I think of Michael!

What did you most look forward to about the Met Gala? 

I looked forward to enjoying the night by not taking it too seriously, seeing the exhibition, and having dinner with the amazing people sitting with me at the table.
