The CFDA strongly cares about the well-being of our 500-plus Members and the industry as a whole.
Health and wellness play an important role within the CFDA ethos. Take, for example, the CFDA Health Initiative, which we launched in 2007 to address the global concern that models were unhealthily thin. We since evolved the initiative include overall wellness in partnership with Equinox, and, after recent reports of sexual assault in entertainment, politics and fashion, added, with help from the Model Alliance, information for those subjected to unwanted sexual attention and/or harassment in the workplace.
Health and well-being are also at the core of programs such as Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, which raises funding for patient navigator programs, and more.
We hope for a 2018 marked by wellness and well-being for all!
