Last week the CFDA traversed one brightly lit coast to another when it packed its bags from NYC to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronic Show (CES). Among the must-see stops: the Refinery29 Dreamers Suite. Located within a beautiful villa centered in the Wynn Hotel, it featured a panoply of new gadgets for millennials curated by the Refinery29 team. The tech products included technology that improves lives in every arena, including relaxation, entertainment, kitchen, travel, fashion, sleep, beauty, and more. Think immersive new world experiences, with interactive items such as “The Muse,” a personal meditation assistant that provides real-time feedback about the brain mechanisms during meditation, and the “Aurora,” which helps users remember their dreams. CFDA Member Rebecca Minkoff’s studded bracelet that converts into a USB connector also made an appearance. Featuring whimsy and function at once, the Refinery29 Dreamers Suite provided a dreamy escape – one we didn’t want to wake up from.
