As part of the CFDA’s partnership with DHL, we hosted a masterclass on “Optimizing Your Brand’s E-commerce for the Holiday Season” focused on the challenges preparing for busy seasons, and ways that brands can engage with DHL to grow their e-commerce business through successfully executing logistics.
The conversation was moderated by Cal McNeil, Director of Program Strategies at CFDA. The panelists included Rachel McGarry, Head of E-Commerce at DHL, and Sara Fisher, Director of E-Commerce at Cult Gaia.
Fisher gave personal insights into how Cult Gaia prepares for the holiday season to ensure a seamless customer experience from discovery to delivery. She highlighted the importance of planning and collaborating within the internal teams of the brand and making sure that the logistics partner is involved at every step of this process to ensure that speed and quality of delivery is not compromised.
McGarry emphasized the importance of communicating with your logistics professionals to assure everyone is aligned and prepared for the surge during the holiday seasons. She also shared details about the partnership between DHL and Global E and the solutions it offers brands as well as some additional resources brands can refer to when dealing with global logistics.
