The second day of New York Fashion Week: Women’s kicked off with a delightful David Hicks-inspired show from Tory Burch in the beautiful garden of the Cooper-Hewitt museum. The floral theme continued at Jason Wu, Milly, Nicole Miller, and Cushnie et Ochs. Other highlights included Chromat – especially the diverse casting – Monse’s patriotic schoolgirls and pretty looks at kate spade new york and Bibhu Mohapatra. Day Two ended with two electric shows: Brandon Maxwell, who wowed with jeans for day and va-va-voom for evening, and Jeremy Scott, who celebrated his 20th anniversary with dazzling Swarovski crystals.
