NYFW Day 6: CFDA’s Favorite Looks from the Collections

September 13, 2017

Ralph Lauren Spring-Summer 2018

The early 1980s were a time when New York tapped into its version of the Youthquake—from the street to the clubs to the art galleries. Stuart Vevers touched on this in his cool Coach 1941 collection via looks featuring Keith Haring graphics and a mix of metallic leather jackets, western, and lingerie influences, plus sparkle – lots of it, all over Stefan Beckman’s Gotham streetscape set. We loved it.

After strong collections from Gabriela Hearst, alice + olivia, Naeem Khan, Sally LaPointe, and Badgley Mischka, day six revved up at night with Ralph Lauren’s collection, shown in his legendary garage of vintage cars in Bedford, NY.
