NYFW Day 10: Top Looks from the Women’s Collections

Marc Jacobs Fall-Winter 2018

A breathtaking end to New York Fashion Week – Marc Jacobs gave us that with his homage to Yves Saint Laurent in rich colors, exaggerated silhouettes, chicly-draped materials, and fabulous Stephen Jones hats. Think the Eighties at their inspiring best (that’s Saint Laurent with a side of Claude Montana and perhaps even a sprinkle of  Krizia). We loved all of it.

Earlier in the day, Michael Kors showed a varied lineup at the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center, including great faux fur coats, floral patterns for dresses, and the results of a new collaboration with illustrator David Downton. Esteban Cortazar marked his return to NYFW after 10 years in Paris, while Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s collection further established her as a designer to watch.
